Who Am I?

Hi, I’m Jennie. I live in Auckland, New Zealand and this is my personal blog where I share my love of all things travel.

Travel has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. With family on the other side of the world, I’ve spent decades travelling long-haul, and over the years, I’ve developed a real love of exploring the world.

I’ve worked in the travel industry for more than 25 years, and I still absolutely love what I do - helping others experience the world while making some truly special travel memories of my own along the way.

To me, travel isn’t just about where you go - it’s also how it makes you feel. It’s all about those magical moments that take your breath away:

✨ Seeing the Eiffel Tower twinkle after dark for the first time
✨ Waking up in Venice and watching the bustling Grand canal outside your window
✨ Watching the sun set in Mykonos while Time to Say Goodbye plays in the background
✨Sailing into the spectacular Bay of Kotor (with its towering mountains and stunning Fjord like scenery)
✨ A relaxing kayak through a Cook Island lagoon
✨ Spotting a Grizzly bear for the first time as you travel through the Rocky Mountains
✨The beautiful voices of Fijian people singing to welcome you to their resort (Fijians seem to be born with the ability to sing and their voices and harmony really does give you goosebumps!) ✨ Watching a pink river dolphin glide through the water as the Amazonian sun sets

I also love cruising and find there is something so peaceful and relaxing about life at sea. I love the ease of it and the excitement of waking up somewhere new each day - without ever needing to repack your suitcase!
